Amanda Harrington
Week 5 of Amanda Harrington
The first scene we see Amanda in this week is her talking to Debbie about her wanting to be a model. Debbie has contacted a modelling agency and been advised that she needs to be a bit ‘sexier’ in her photos so isn’t sure she wants to go ahead. As Amanda has loads of experience in this she gives Debbie advice – which is basically to do only what she feels comfortable with.
We also see Amanda has the female judge for the talent competition to win membership to liverpools brand new members only club. Amanda is left feeling a little stupid when she suggests one of the entrants could be related to Romeo from Romeo and Juliet because her surname is Montague – not realising that the book isn’t real life.
Amanda gets to choose who wins the free membership to The Playground and they give it to previously unseen Scouser Samantha who looked stunning in her red dress for the audition. The atmosphere between Joe and Amanda isn’t great and the two can’t really agree on anyone to put through, although they bond over the decision to not give Layla the free membership.
Week 4 of Amanda Harrington
This week’s episode was a quiet one for Amanda and so we didn’t see much of her at all. The whole of Liverpool is in full swing with Christmas parties and festive cheer so no doubt the wannabe model is going to be partying hard with the best of them. Desperate Scousewives has bought Amanda to our screens however that doesn’t mean that she hasn’t worked hard before that to make a name for herself. She is known locally throughout the city and once you get to see and know her, it is easy to see how!
Amanda’s friend Chloe is still excited to try and get Amanda together with a boy as she feels that this is the answer to all of her prayers. Chloe knows loads of footballers thanks to her cousin Sean but seeing as Amanda has sworn off of footballers completely and the fact that Chloe is also trying to bag herself a fella this could prove harder than first thought! The next episode of Desperate Scousewives is due on Boxing Day and we’re excited to see what Amanda has gotten up to over the festive season, which is bound to be full of stories and drama!
Week 3 of Amanda Harrington
Amanda is a go-getter and this week’s episode was no different. The first time we see her on our screens this week is with Chloe discussing the Christmas shopping that they need to get done and just how busy and hectic her life is! Chloe insists that the answer to Amanda’s prayers is a boyfriend! In fact she even spots a guy for Amanda whilst they are out shopping and tries to get her to go and chat him up!
Amanda is adamant that she is too busy for a boyfriend and that she is happy with her life as it is. We see the girls go out shopping and when Chloe points out a lad for Amanda, Amanda is adamant that she isn’t interested in anyone at the moment and instead gives Chloe some relationship advice – insisting that she should only date ugly men if she wants to be treated right.
Much of this weeks episode concentrated on Gills birthday celebrations so we didn’t see as much of Amanda as we have in previous weeks however with Christmas on its way and plenty of parties in the pipeline we’re very excited to see what happens in future weeks for the Liverpool gang.
Week 2 of Desperate Scousewives proved to be just as exciting as the first week, with the fight between Amanda and blogger Jaiden carried on. Last week we saw them clash at The Style Awards, which ended with Jaiden having a drink thrown over him.
The week we saw Jaiden have a Skype catch up with his friend Journalist Elissa. Despite being best friends, Elissa doesn’t really agree with Jaidens catty ways and gave him a dressing down over his argument with Amanda. That evening Elissa was at the same fashion awards as Amanda and we saw the 2 have a catch up about what had happened previously. The 2 girls seemed to get on very well and bonded over the fact that they think Jaiden is over the top in his bitchy blog ways.
Desperate Scousewives is fast catching on as the must-watch reality drama and with the stories between the likes of Amanda and Jaiden it is easy to see why. Put this on top of the fact that Amanda is clashing with fellow model Layla and you have a recipe for disaster – which of course we all can’t help but want to watch!
Week One – Desperate Scousewives
As this week was the first episode of Amanda’s new show Desperate Scousewives we couldn’t wait to see what the reality show had in mind. We watched the adverts over the weeks before hand and got increasingly excited to watch the debut episode – and we were not disappointed.
Amanda was one of the stars of the show, already being likened to The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs, who has made quite a name for herself over recent weeks. Unsurprisingly Amanda was already known by many of the people taking part in the show, as she has already made quite a name for herself being an aspiring model in and around Liverpool.
The show saw Amanda attending the cities Style Awards which saw her get in a car, only to drive around the block and make the right kind of entrance to the red carpet event. However her entrance didn’t make the wanted impression with everyone and blogger Jaiden was quite vocal on his dislike of Amanda and the outfit she was wearing – although for the record, we thought she looked great! Seeing as this was only week 1, we’re excited to see what the rest of the TV series has to bring.
If there is anyone on this planet that is determined to be famous, Amanda Harrington is it. She has tried for a number of years to make her way into households via TV and media and it seems her place on new reality show ‘Desperate Scousewives’ is her newest and most famous attempt yet!
The show, which is due to start airing in a few months is said to be the Scouse version of ‘The Only Way Is Essex; and judging by media attention is already set to be a hit. However the reality show is far from Amanda’s first taste of fame.
Amanda first set out on the road to fame 4 years ago when a friend of hers sent some of her photos to a modelling agency; the pretty blonde hasn’t really looked back since! Every year since 2006 she has produced her own calendar, which sells thousands of copies each year. She has even taken part in TV series glamour girls.
Everything with Amanda is about looking glamorous and feeling great. She sells a number of different beauty products, including her own range of hair extensions.
Since all of this started Amanda has gone on to open her own modelling school, designed to teach wannabes how to make it in the business and show them how much hard work it can take to be a success.
The exact details of Desperate Scousewives have yet to be released, with rumours of storylines and cast members already doing the rounds. The popularity that it seems to have gotten already shows that there is an interest in knowing what life is like in the North West. One thing for sure is that its predecessors The Only Way Is Essex& Geordie Shore have helped to give its cast the fame they want so we can only hope that Desperate Scousewives is just as successful for Amanda Harrington. Amanda is already used to reality lifestyles as she writes a weekly ‘life update’ article for Liverpool based publication The Liverpool Echo.
